Please note that from Summer to Summer, the foundation of Camp will not change. What will be new for returning campers will be a change in activities and exercises in order to reinforce the basics. Manners Camp is designed to build on itself year after year and therefore become more amd more advanced.

Also, please note that each day is 50 minutes long, instructional, filled with activities and most important driven by the campers' participation. We have lots of dialogue! At the end of each day, we enjoy a healthy snack right before pick up time. On Friday, the campers participate in a 3-course meal in the dining room-this is the only day I ask that they dress as they would for church in the summer. It is important that they dress comfortably for the other days so that they are more relaxed with some of the exercises we do.

I welcome any questions or concerns you or your child may have. Let me say here that my main purpose for this camp is to help your children build on the skills they are already learning from you at home. My desire is to put that in more of a "real world" environment because I believe that this can enhance self-confidence. Ultimately, that is the goal: Self-confidence in social, educational and business settings.

I am so excited to introduce Needlepoint and Knitting Classes for the first time this summer! Please check dates and times. These classes will be limited to 6 because of hands-on time required. All materials are included in these classes. The ages for these classes will be entering 3rd through 6th grades.

Please refer to the Summer Schedule and Form for further questions. For enrollment, fill out the form and mail with your deposit. Feel free to call or email me with any questions. 683-7507                  jbroc5342@knology.net
